Dear Parents, I hope you were able to enjoy your summer. I want to take a minute to introduce myself and tell you a little about myself and my class. My name is Eric Wilson and I will be your child’s teacher this year for either Physical Education, Health, or Computers 6. I currently live in Adrian with my wife Amanda, who is a Registered Nurse. We have two children Calan (who is seven and will be a 1st grader at Blissfield), Hannah (4), and our dog Griffey. I feel blessed to have this opportunity and I am extremely excited to be a part of Blissfield Schools and the community. I was born and raised in Sand Creek and graduated in 1997. While in high school I played football, basketball and baseball. After high school I attended Olivet College before finishing my degree at Adrian College. My degree is K-12 Physical Education with a minor in Elementary Education. I played one year of baseball and two years of football at Olivet College. After getting my degree I spent time as a substitute teacher, special education aide, and coach. I was an aide in 1st grade, 2nd grade, 6th grade and in the high school at Sand Creek. While working at Sand Creek I coached football (Jr. High & JV), Basketball (JV), Baseball (JV & Varsity) and Bowling (Varsity). I am really excited to be working at Blissfield teaching Physical Education/Health. I have a lot of things that I want to do this year. Most of all I want your children to have a great experience in physical education. I want each student to enjoy my class and they can’t do that if we never do anything they enjoy. I have plenty of activities in mind and some new ideas that I am planning on implementing.
I look forward to meeting everyone and getting to know you all better. GO ROYALS!!!! Sincerely, Eric Wilson
